The Asbury Cemetery in Rock Island will have Decoration Day on Saturday, Aug. 18th. The meeting will start at 11am with a covered dish lunch to follow. Contributions may be sent to Asbury Cemetery, 205 Hickory Court, McMinnville, Tn. 37110.

A Family Fundraiser for Russell Clayborne will be held Saturday, Aug. 19th at Viola Community Center. Russell is a longtime Viola resident and community volunteer who was recently diagnosed with cancer. The spaghetti supper begins at 5pm. Live auction is at 6:30. All proceeds benefit Russell Clayborne and family.

The Campaign Church of God will host The Bobby Bowen Family from Greenbrier, Tn. Sunday, Aug. 20th at 10:30am. Everyone is welcome.

Morrison Public Library invites everyone to Eclipse Day events on Aug. 21st, starting at 10am. They will have free official eclipse glasses, a space movie show, metal space retro toy exhibit and a moon pie give away.

McMinnville Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 115 Peer Street will have a Revival Aug. 20th at 6pm, Aug. 21st at 7pm and Aug. 22nd at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

Decoration will be held Saturday, Aug. 26th at Long Cemetery on Highway 30 in Van Buren County. Business meeting is at 11am and a covered dish luncheon at 12 noon. Donations for upkeep of the cemetery can be mailed to Joe Moffitt, 2322 Shangri La Lane, McMinnville, Tn. 37110.

The Youth Group of the Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church will have a fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 26th. They will be serving breakfast from 7-10am and washing cars in the church parking lot from 8am-2pm. Cost for both will be a donation.

The Cope Family Reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 27th at the Wayside CIC. A covered dish lunch will be served at around 12:30.

The 41st Original Copeland Family Reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 27th at Findlay School Cafeteria. Doors open at 10am. Lunch will be served at 12:30. Bring a covered dish with drink.

Applications for the Warren County A&L Fair Baby Show are now available at JC Penney, Ashley's Attic, Kathy's Formal Wear, Southern Standard and the Warren County Extension Office. Completed forms and a $30 registration fee must be postmarked by August 30th and mailed to AAUW, P.O. Box 7053, McMinnville, Tn. 37110. No late applications will be accepted..

Copeland Chapel Church will have an Old Fashioned Congregational Singing on Sunday, Sept. 3rd at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

The McMinnville Central High School Class of 1967 will have their 50 year class reunion Sept. 30th. Any class member who has not received the information, contact Lynette Womack Moore at wc2258@blomand.net or Patricia Maxwell Snodgrass at 931-507-2439.

Kids of the Community will be sponsoring the 2017 Kruise-in for Kids every second Saturday from April through October beginning at 5pm at 681 Cadillac Lane. All proceeds are donated to Kids of the Community. For information call 931-743-2461 or 931-474-KIDS.
